We decided to get Tessy and Tab, because our four year old son had a speech deficit due to a hearing loss when he was just a baby. The hearing is now corrected, and he spends time in speech therapy to work on his language development. Since Tessy and Tab stories work on one letter sound each issue, it has greatly helped our son to better understand and focus on the sounds that he was lacking. He loves to get them in the mail, because he feels grown up, and this added excitement makes the speech practice that much more fun.
